The women listed below will take questions specific to them or you may post a general question that any of the mentors can answer. As these women will be logging into the room at various times throughout the week to address questions, they will do their best to get to as many questions as their time allows.
    Tahani Amer Aerospace Engineer / Langley Research Center - Tahani works in the Aerodynamic Measurement Branch, developing instruments and sensors that measure the parameters needed to design new airplanes. She began her college education in medical school in Cairo, Egypt. She received B.S. and M.S. degrees in engineering in the United States and is currently pursuing her doctorate. She has been working with NASA for eight years and has four children.

    Carol Davies - Research Scientist / NASA Ames Research Center - Carol was schooled in England and worked in England for a year before coming to the U.S. to begin work for NASA. She moved to the Republic of Singapore where she taught Statistics and Computer Science at the University of Singapore for four years. Carol also speaks fluent Spanish.

May 9 6 am, Pacific Live QuestChat K-12 Global Science and Technolgy Week chat with Kathryn Clark As chief scientist of the International Space Station, Kathryn Clark coordinates the national & international research communities. As a pilot, Kathryn has logged over 120K flight miles, worked at six shuttle launches and has brought together scientists in 10 fields from 16 countries to get science into the space station.

    Wed. May 10 11 am, Pacific Live QuestChat K-12 Global Science and Technolgy Week chat with Lynn Cline Lynn Cline is the NASA deputy associate administrator for International Relations. She represents NASA at the United Nations Committee on Peaceful Users of Outer Space. She was the NASA lead negotiator of agreements with Canada, Europe, Japan and Russia for the International Space Station. Lynn was also responsible for NASA's relations with Russia.

    Thursday, May 11 10 a.m. Pacific Live QuestChat K-12 Global Science and Technolgy Week chat with Patricia Moore Patricia Moore Patricia is an Operations Lead in the Houston Support Group for the International Space Station operations. She works in the Russian Mission Control Center in Moscow to facilitate communications and data exchange between the Russian Flight Control Team and the U.S. Flight Control Team in Houston. She will be chatting live from Russia.
