Yvonne Cagle, P.h.D.

Dr. Yvonne Darlene Cagle was born on April 24, 1959, in West Point, New York, but considers Novato, California, to be her hometown. She received a bachelor of arts degree from San Francisco State University and a doctorate in medicine from the University of Washington. Yvonne worked as a flight surgeon, helped with rescue in aeromedical missions, and was a occupational physician at a NASA health clinic.

Having completed two years of training and evaluation at Johnson Space Center, Yvonne is qualified for flight assignment as a mission specialist for future NASA missions. She has been awarded many Air Force honors and is involved in the Boys and Girls Club of America, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Third Baptist Church.
